Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills, staining) in one go without the need to change devices. They can also reduce space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin, refill their water tank, and wash their mopping pads with the dock that is specifically designed for them.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to set up that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that cleans up a mess and is a great vacuum cleaner too. affordable robot vacuum spin at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent, with the robot being able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that the robot is known to smash into walls and objects at full speed. However, a quick look at the cleaning history on the app will show you exactly what the robot accomplished, where it's traveling, and what obstacles he has run into or avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station tells the maintenance tasks that need to be done including emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank automatically by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop, is the most up-to-date version. The model this year has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This increases the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could miss.
This Roborock model, like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it get around obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It then can alter its direction automatically and clean the objects without missing a step.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek angular design is striking, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to take the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.
The only issue I have found with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's not easy to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful alternatives available. This powerful vacuum removes dry mess, including pet hair and food particles. It comes with a mop that is high quality that cleans hard floors without the need for a pad. Additionally the X40 is very quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional squeaks of sound when switching between modes or performing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 also has a side brush that can be lifted and extended. This lets it reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture that is curved like chairs and table legs. It also allows the robot to get under low-profile furniture which makes it a great option for smaller apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush also automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice touch that helps the X40 avoid damaging floors with the frequent back-and-forth movement.
In contrast to other robots that only focus on one task, the X40 can do mopping and vacuuming at the same time or individually. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is intuitive and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, alter modes, look at floor plans and maps, and control mopping settings. The X40 will also monitor its progress, and alert you when it is finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features that make it a great choice for busy families. The docking station automatically cleans the dustbin and the mop pads and refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. robot vacuum cleaners will also tell you the moment when the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation before it overflows.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive models available and comes with a lot of extra features that distinguish it from. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and soiled spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a great feature because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in storage. robot vacuum cleaners makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.
There's a wealth of options available, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and alter a variety of preferences. They can be set through the app, or via direct buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options to customize the cleaning process, and there are a lot of features that other robots don't have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and sophisticated. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this list however it's not excessively heavy. It is solid and well-built. Mopping is well designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
